Be careful of slaughtering fuckbuddy feelings. Usually those people come when you booty call because they are in love with you, so if you get too honest with them it can damage them badly. I am not saying to avoid fuckbuddies (do you go to the grocery store when you're famished?). But if you tell a fuckbuddy the truth about the love interests in your life, he will tend to shut down on you.
